Have you ever thought of a better way to really express yourself? I mentioned time and time again that music is one of the best realms to really ingrain into your soul to display your inner most desires to come to life. Some people like to turn on their boom boxes and crank up the volume or download music from iTunes and just simply sing along. That’s all fine and dandy, but one fun way to unleash your musical passion is singing karaoke.
I’m sure we’ve all been to signature restaurants such as Cactus Club, Carderro’s, The Sand Bar, The Boathouse to name a few. Each has their own unique theme and recommended dishes as well as a distinct staff. Plus all these places generally have a zoo setting during peak hours, whether during lunch or the weekends.
OK, so call me fussy. But, I don’t have the taste for chinese style Japanese food. I have gone to Sushi Restaurants expecting the same level of presentation, taste and quality as say…Tojo’s, only to find that the preparation for that unique Japanese taste is missing or that it tastes awful!!!
There are a plethora of restaurants on Broadway between Cambie and Burrard that are sure to inspire awe and a great deal of confusion…..from Thai to Russian to Korean to Chinese to Japanese to…..well, you get what I mean.
What’s on the menu tonight? Do we go out or do we stay in? Therein lies the conundrum. Going out gives you all the choices available to dine to your hearts desire. Or, do you buy some groceries and try home cooked?
I think there’s never enough wine in the glass, period! Although it is worth the glass it’s served in. But every time I get served a glass of wine, I get a huge piece of round glass (yes, literally) and a tiny little red or white pond at the bottom.
Recently my friend and I went to Cactus Club to ponder over our recent experiences with setting up a website. This made us very hungry and we decided to order a couple of burgers. Much to our surprise, the burgers were well endowed and extremely tasty and juicy!
