What ever happened to consumer safety regulations that are suppose to protect us from shoddy and dangerous imports from countries like China?? Oh yeah, I forgot, it’s the money, stupid! Not only have we turned a blind eye to products that kill, maim, injure, poison, etc., we have not been diligent in protecting ourselves from the influx of thousands of products manufactured in China. From food products/food ingredients, children’s toys, pet foods, drugs, seafood, jewelry etc., the list is long and you will be horrified to find what is on that list. It is time to stop the importation of products from China. Stop shopping at WAL-MART would be a good place to start. Start reading the labels on purchases and if it is “Made In China”, buy a comparable product from another country, even though this may mean spending a bit more. I know, it is almost impossible to find anything that isn’t “Made In China”. But, if we the consumer stops buying the crap that comes from China, the supply/demand system will collapse and there will be no market for those products. So, let’s speak up by our actions and maybe just maybe we can live free of lethal products from China. I have an idea, “BOYCOTT MADE IN CHINA”.
